Okage Yokocho Cat
Picture of a cat ornament seen at Okage Yokocho, the village near Ise Jingu Shrine in Japan. Okage Yokocho has old, traditional Japanese landscape, and has long history as a village for people who come to pray at Ise Shrine, the most popular and significant shrine in Japan. The cat was found at the cloth store, Momenya Ai (もめんや藍).

New Year 2013
A picture drawn for New Year cards of 2013, zodiac year of snake. In the drawing, snakes pretend to be kagamimochi, a traditional Japanese New Year decoration. At the bottom of the stand (called sanpo) of kagamimochi, a snake is wearing shishimai (lion dance) clothes, which is also used to celebrate New Year in Japan.
